Set up Zapline on your iPhone or iPad

About 3 minutes. Zapline is the IPTV player for the M3U, Xtream Codes or MAC portal playlist you already have. It comes with no channels.

  1. Open the App StoreTap Search.
  2. Search for Zapline
  3. Tap Get
  4. Tap Open

Add your playlist

  1. Create a profile

    Type a name and tap Create Profile.

    Each profile keeps its own playlists and favorites.

  2. Choose what your provider gave you

    • Playlist link: an M3U or get.php address.
    • Xtream login: a server, username and password.
    • MAC portal: a portal address and MAC address.

    Have a file instead? Tap Import a playlist file.

  3. Fill it in and tap Sign In

    Copy your details exactly as your provider sent them.

  4. Wait for it to load

    Tap Allow and Zapline tells you when a big playlist is ready.

    You can switch apps or lock your screen in the meantime.

Watch

  1. Live TV

    1. 1Search this list.
    2. 2Open the guide.
    3. 3Pick a category.
    4. 4Tap a channel to play it. Tap the heart to keep it.
    5. 5Move between Live TV, Movies, Series, Favorites and More.

  2. While you watch

    1. 1Change channel.
    2. 2Add to favorites.
    3. 3Audio, subtitles, sleep timer and more.

  3. Guide

    1. 1Open the guide.
    2. 2Jump back to now.
    3. 3Tap a programme.

  4. Get reminded

    On a programme still to come, tap Remind Me.

    You get a notification two minutes before it starts. Tap it to open the channel.

  5. Movies

    1. 1Play or resume.
    2. 2Add to favorites.
    3. 3Download to watch offline.

    Tap a name under Cast to see what else they're in.

    Tap Play to carry on, or pick a season and an episode.

  3. Multiview

    Tap the grid button in the player, then Add a Channel.

    • Tap a channel for its sound.
    • Tap twice to watch it alone.

    Up to four at once, as many as your subscription allows.

  1. Start with Check Connection

    It tells you if the problem is your internet, your provider or your account.

    Find it in More. This example shows one channel your provider isn't sending.

I can't find Zapline in the App Store

Zapline isn't in the App Store yet. Get an email when it is.

My playlist won't load
  • Server address: include the port, like example.com:8080.
  • Link: it must start with http:// or https://. If it opens a web page in a browser, it isn't a playlist.
  • Ask your provider if the subscription is active and under its device limit.
A channel won't start or keeps stopping

Close Zapline on any other device: many subscriptions allow one connection at a time. Your connections in use are listed with your playlist.

The guide is empty

It's nearly always a mismatch on the provider's side. Here's how to fix it.
